Vertical Industry Solutions

Fast Answers has participated in two vertical solution efforts. The first, Fast Rehab, was a software solution that targeted retailers that customize wheelchairs. These firms need to assess each client and design chair configurations that address their specific requirements. These firms also need to document this process and seek funding from third party insurance and medicare programs. Our office automation solution tracked and automated these tasks. This business was sold to a competitor who took the product off the market. Now years later we still get calls from the technicians who have held on to our brochure ever since the mailings we did during our product launch in 1993.

Our second vertical market effort has been underway since January, 2003. Breeze Easy is a new California Corporation that manages legal entities formed to eable the sharing of luxury recreation assets for personal use. Breeze Easy needs every bit of functionality contained in Waypoint. Assets, Events, Contacts and Projects all need to be tracked. Waypoint was customized to address a few idiosyncratic requirements, but additional new requirements have become permanent enhancements to our application.

We are looking at several additional vertical market niches for which Waypoint could be a strong new product entry. We expect that other markets also exist about which we are not yet aware. We welcome inquiries from firms that exist in candidate industries. We want to partner with an industry firm in each industry we decide to enter.

Our historical experience has taught us about the additional issues involved in launching a vertical market solution. We have studied trade journals, placed targetted advertisements, and presented at trade shows. We have studied the competition and participated in product reviews.
